Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The last two weeks were so healthy to the Lord's Ministries as all pastors were gathering together to

discuss on the way forward and how we can effectively reach many people and be help to the thousands

of the unreached nad the hurting around East Africa, D.R Congo and Southern Sudan.

It was a blessing to see the pastors come out with creative and beneficial ideas, having a

compassionate heart to reaching the lost with an everlasting impact. We proposed to work on the

children's, youth and women ministries, Schools Outreach, Prisons and Hospital ministry, evangelism

missions and church planting, teaching, discipleship missions and school of ministry,  orphanages and

adoption programs, emergency relief missions, Ministry funds and administration.

We discussed on laying a strong foundation for the children in preparation of the strong future

ministry. Pastor Moses Mucharia and Pastor Kennedy Owinyo were appointed to head this Children's

Ministry. They will be tasked to mobilize the Sunday School teachers in every church and train them on

how to lead, teach and raise up the children. They will be planning the children's rallies, children's

banquets, as well as taking the children for the educative tours to motivate them. They will be

required to look for the children's resources as Purpets, curriculum's etc. Pastor Nickson Biketi and

Pastor Harun Shikuku will be leading the Youths, They will be required to work hand in hand with the

Youth Leaders and Pastors, Plan the weekend challenges, youth camps, rallies. Also they will need to

incorperate the Youth Leaders in the evangelism missions. Conselling centers will be established to

help the youths to help revent the HIV epidemic mostly in youths as It has become of a great disaster

in Africa.

We all agreed to the need to cooperate with the Christian Union Chairman and Patrons in primary

Schools, Secodary schools and colleges. This will be done by planning the meetings, symbossiums and

other events as a way to reach to the students. The same team heading the schools outreaches will be

responsible to plan for the hospital missions where by we will be visiting the sick in the hospitals,

pray for them, and take to them some small fruits, as well as visiting the prisoners and encouraging

them. Pastors Protus Wepukhulu and Timothy Nyongesa will be responsible for this.

Pastor Gideon Mudenyo and David Ikeya will head the evangelsim and church planting missions. They will be required to form the committees under them to specialize on street evangelsm, others to house to house evangelism, as well as open air capaigns. They will also be tasked to planning all the missions that the ministry will have. To be much effective in the missions and the church planting this team will need to cooperate with the youth ministry to help in reachng out.

Discipleship and and school of Ministry will be headed by Pastors Jonathan Mudenyo and Moses Wanyonyi. They will ensure that all the pastors of the ministry atleast goes through a simple program of the school of Ministry. In this one, they will have to teach the pastors on Bible Studies, Bible Interpretation, Sermon preparations, ministry administration, Priciples of evangelism, Bible Survey, Theology Survey and some apologetics. They will come in the places already evangelized by Gideon's and David's team to disciple the New Converts, They will have the New Testament Bibles and some tracts to give to this New Converts. They will keep on monitoring the people recently saved to ensure that no soul gets lost.

Orphanages and adoption programs will be headed by Pastor Moses Wanyonyi and Samuel Mola,This has been the most challenging ministry, By the grace of God we begun the Orphanage 2 years ago, But all most of the people who have come to help us, seems to give tough conditions before they can help including taking over the ministry. The Ministry will now entrust Pastor Moses and Samuel to help in administration of the Orphanage. Also Brother Bob from USA who came and helped with some construction, will be requested to help put up the administration together with Moses

We have had the emergence relief programs, like when the famine, floods ets has suddenly hit the place. We will continue requesting Pastors Jonathan, George, Gideon, Moses, Harun to continue helping in this stuation.

This are some of the Things we discussed and are looking forward to seeing God move in a might way. After the meeting most of the Pastors had to straight a way go for prayers at Calvary Center, Where God helped as and strengthened us.

May God bless you.

Chetambe Crusades

It has been a blessing to miniter in this villages around Western Kenya, and Eastern Uganda. The hassles have been greater, the attacks by the enemy became more intense, But thank God the victories were sweeter, and the fruit far more abundant than I have ever seen. Ministry there is a draining experience. I usually return with little voice left, emotionally wrung out, physically weak, but immensely gratified, having seen the amazing work of the Holy Spirit one more time.

Such was the case of our last week evangelistic mission to Chetambe village not very far from Webuye. We have been preparing, fasting and praying for this mission since January, Pastors Kamau and Tambwe who are respected gospel artists joined us for this great event. My dad was admitted to Webuye hospital and so much was going on around us, we discovered that the devil was out to fight us and stop this meeting. having sensed this I mediately wrote to our prayer partners to join us in Prayer and God healed my dad before the mission begun giving us good time for the mission.

God led us safely to this place on Wednesday at around 3pm. We scattered around the Open ground where we were going to hold the meetings and begin praying and anointing the place in readness of what the Lord was gOIng to do. On Thursday we divided the missioners we went from house to the next house evangelizing and welcoming people in the evening meetings, this was done for all the days that we were there.

The Open Air Campaigns were so fruitful and always begun at 4pm and ended at 7pm, The Intercessory team was ready at the ground as from 3pm praying and interceeding. The worship team was ready at the stage as from 4pm. People begun coming at the meeting others going home from the work stoped by to hear the word, God was so great and we saw great harvest, many souls coming to the Lord, We had bought 500 New testaments and 500 gospel of John booklests , By Saturday evening we had given out all of this books and we did not have enough books to give out on Sunday, We kindly request your prayers as we promised to give to those who got saved on Sunday the Swahili New testaments. We therefore urgently need 200 New Testament Bibles, 200 gospel of John booklets. 1 New Testamnt costs $ 1 and the gospel of John booklet costs $ 0.5. This will help this people grow.

In total 789 got saved during this week, The New Believers class was immediately introduced by Pastor Steve on Sunday evening, The pastors in the area who had teamed up to invite us for the meetings, agreed to follow up and send the New believers who will have joined their churches in this discipleship class everu Sunday evening after the normal sunday service.

Continue praying for us and for those New believers. Also continue praying for the upcoming meetings, we will keep you updated.

Peter had so much to tell the people who had come to see what was happening in Jerusalem, He delivered his very first public sermon and pointing to them from Joel about what will happen in the last days. He later pointed them to Jesus and told them how Jesus came for them but they killed Him, Showing them plainly that Jesus was Christ, He was living. It was a great blessing to see people respond to the message with the 3,000 people turning a way from their past life and giving their lives to Jesus. That was the beginning of the church.

We are taskedto reach out to all, point to them that this are the last days, point to them Jesus Christ, and lead them to salvation. We are therefore calling all of you to partner with us to Reach out.

January Report

 Dear Prayer Partners,

We send you our greetings from Kenya . We thank you so much for committing your time in prayer for this work in Africa . The Holy Spirit is greatly moving in this place and we are so happy that we can feel him and many people are able to see His light. This takes us back where Jesus was giving his final instructions to the church fathers right in Acts.

Acts 1:4-5

4          On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem , but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

5          For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

Jesus? commanded the apostles to wait with expectation of a gift that Jesus promised to give. He has already told them about him earlier:

John 14:16-17

16        And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--

17, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Jesus harkens back to a statement John the Baptist made at the beginning of Jesus? ministry:

Matt 3:11

11        "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Some had real problems believing that He had risen. Now here they are eating with Jesus after the resurrection. What would you ask? Here?s what was on their minds.

Acts 1:6

6          So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel ?"

Vs 6 They were still caught up in the idea that Jesus was to restore the kingdom right then

This is what a lot of the Jews thought at the time. The reason is that Jewish leaders knew of the Messiah ? but they didn?t understand much about His mission or character.

They saw the conquering king of the second coming and missed the suffering savior of the first. Yes, Jesus will restore the earthly kingdoms to godly rule ? but not to remove Rome only, but on a global scale. But first He was out to restore the soul of man to God?s kingdom.

Jesus didn?t rebuke them, but simply deflected the answer:

Acts 1:7

7          He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

Instead Jesus focuses right back on His real message for them ? don?t look for an external change in your circumstances, instead look for an internal change to your character.

Acts 1:8

8          But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Vs 7-8 It isn?t our job to try to figure out God?s timing and plans, but to walk in power as witnesses ? witnesses in our home, our community, and our world. This is where the model for evangelism is laid out ? we are to be witnesses ? they actually saw Jesus walk and talk and die and rise ? we have seen what He has done in our lives. We are simply to testify about that to others.

The year begun on a high note and all of us prepared ourselves to go and witness to the lost and strengthen the churches, reaching the poor and discouraged with the message of hope and comfort, reaching out with the acts of compassion and the power of the word of God.

The Holy Spirit led us to do the following over the month of January:-

  1. Visit 2 churches, conducting revival meetings and open air evangelistic meetings

                                                              i.      Bigtree Church in the first week of January. Many people were healed during this event and at the end of the week 20 more people were added to the church. We left the pastor with the need of expanding his temporal structure to accommodate many people coming to the church and start a nursery school to provide basic education to the orphans in the area.

ii.      Matunda Church in the second week of January. This was just a new church plant. We went to strengthen pastor Nickson, The Crusades were conducted at the Matunda market and the night meetings at His church near Matunda primary School. About 70 people got saved during this meetings. More than 30 people were added`to the church at the end of the meetings. Pray for this church as it needs the shelter,

  1. Conduct one leaders training conference

                                                              i.      Busia Church with many pastors joining for the teachings

  1. Plant the Church

                                                              i.      The church was finally planted

  1. Establish 107 prayer cells in Western, Southern and Northern parts of Kenya , Eastern Uganda, and Southern Tanzania .
  2. Increase 6 more children in the orphanage.
  3. Join with the other pastors and the church leaders of a city wide crusades and revival meetings.

Continue praying for this work, Pray that many souls that are coming to Christ through these meetings will never go back to the world. Pray that God will supply all the needed resources to accomplish this work that God has started in this ministry.

May God greatly bless you

We will send you more updates

Yours brother
